Oh man, that sounds awful. I’d feel horrible if something like that happened to me, ffft. Well, if you no longer feel comfortable in writing it, maybe you should drop it or try something a bit different with it.
Well, like I mentioned, my idea followed that pattern except for the part where the son gets executed as a warning… Like, in my version he lives only he goes through a rough time but I still wonder if it´d be okay or if people would think of me as heartless e_e
